The Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Small Business Market Promotion Agency, and Gyeongbuk Technopark hosted the “25-Year Small Business Global Marketing Support Project” Global Business Matching Fair on October 27th and 28th to support Korean small businesses entering the global market and to revitalize the small business and regional economy.

This event was held to introduce excellent products from Korean small and medium-sized enterprises to Cambodian businesspeople and to create opportunities for cooperation and market entry with local companies. The event was held with the following objectives: △One-on-one business consultations, △Product exhibitions, and △Partnership exploration.

Eleven Korean companies will participate in this event, introducing their products to 30 Cambodian companies and holding business meetings. It is expected that this will lead to the establishment of a model of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries through the development of overseas sales channels and securing market entry.

Through this Global Matching Fair, Gyeongbuk TP plans to actively support local small businesses in entering new markets and building global networks. The strategy is to enhance the K-brand image of Gyeongsangbuk-do small businesses and establish a sustainable cooperation and exchange system based on collaboration with Cambodian companies.

Gyeongbuk TP Director Ha In-Sung said, “This global matching fair will serve as an important stepping stone for revitalizing the local economy and enhancing the global competitiveness of small businesses amidst the economic downturn,” and added, “We will continue to support local companies’ entry into overseas markets, thereby establishing a system that can secure local corporate growth and market competitiveness.”
